We are looking for a Kronos Expert for a 6-month renewable contract or permanent position in Montreal.
The Senior Analyst, Kronos Systems serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for all ongoing activities (including support, files maintenance, coding and table management) related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of employee information
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Implements, upgrades and supports Kronos Timekeeping application.
Must be able to configure Kronos Timekeeper, including, but not limited to, Labor Level Sets, Rounding and Punch interpretation rules, pay code distribution tables, Zones, Pay rules and Work rules, Pay codes, WIM (Workforce Integration Manager), Hyperfinds, and Genies.
Familiarity with Kronos database tables for creating reports and data extracts using SQL and/or report writing tools (including Business Objects).
Supports HR/Payroll application by troubleshooting, configuration of and modifying employee records, using Add-Ins as needed.
Collaborate with business owners on the design, creation, test, troubleshoot, modification of reports using Business Objects or acceptable report writing tool.
Troubleshoots and resolves reported system and application problems in the test and production environments.
Responsible for system testing of releases and upgrades to ensure compliance with union contracts, federal, state and local laws, to include software patches and upgrades as required.
Complete periodic on-call support duties for supported systems.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Access to and / or works with sensitive and / or confidential information.
Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
- Design, code, configure, test, debug, modify and document system and application programs (Kronos)
- Create/modify interfaces using Kronos WIM (Workforce Integration Management)
- Experience with SQL and familiarity with Kronos database tables
- Report creation experience (design, write, and troubleshoot) is a must
- HR/Payroll functional / workflow experience is a plus
- Retail experience preferred
