Description

We are looking for an Azure Data Platform Administrator to join our consulting team in the Montreal office.

This position is offered in a hybrid work model.

Tâches

The Cloud DevOps Analyst is responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployments, and ensuring efficient software delivery using Azure DevOps tools and services. This role plays a critical part in bridging development and operations teams, enabling faster, more reliable releases while maintaining security and compliance standards. In addition, the Cloud DevOps Analyst plays a critical role in supporting cloud migration initiatives, including automating deployment workflows and ensuring smooth transitions between environments during migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Pipeline Development & Automation:
o Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
o Automate build, test, and deployment processes for applications and infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
o Implement IaC using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep for Azure resources.

Exigences

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation roles.
- Hands-on experience working in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps including:
o Azure Pipelines
o Azure Repos
o Azure Artifacts
o Azure Boards
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as:
o Terraform
o ARM Templates
o Bicep
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including:
o Azure App Services
o Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
o Azure Functions
o Azure Virtual Machines
o Azure Storage
o Azure Networking
- Experience with containerization technologies such as:
o Docker
o Kubernetes
- Scripting and automation experience using:
o PowerShell
o Bash
o Python
- Experience with source control and branching strategies using:
o Git
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as:
o Azure Monitor
o Log Analytics
o Application Insights
- Security & Compliance
o Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure CI/CD practices.
o Experience implementing role-based access controls (RBAC), secrets management, and pipeline security.
o Familiarity with compliance and governance standards in cloud environments.
- Cloud Migration & Operations
o Experience supporting cloud migration projects and hybrid-cloud environments.
o Ability to automate deployment workflows and environment provisioning during migration activities.
o Experience troubleshooting deployment, infrastructure, and release management issues.
- Soft Skills
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
o Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
o Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Preferred Certifications
o Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
o Terraform Associate certification is considered an asset.
